These are $30 per lot shipped. I have 7 lots for sale with 5 screws per lot. If you want a lot, say the number of the lot and "I'll take it". Peace and love.

Okay, all that's left is lot 7.

Wonder if we will get the screws we claimed or will they be cherry picked? :)

I think "cheery picking" is reserved for GCA members at CMP. Remember the Cherry Picking riot of several years ago at CMP?

I was thinking of the mysterious dissapearing HRA Bolt on the CMP forum :)

One more thing, I'd like to get some feedback on the finish on these screws. They are NOT painted, they are NOT blackened with that pathetic Caswell stuff which wipes off. These will look just like original GI finish, I think. Let me know what you guys think.

Tim,
I have used Caswells blackner before and have only had one that rubbed off. The rest worked well. Not sure why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't?

Tim, I'll test them out when I get them. I might even swap them out with the three rifles you are working on for me now. The 6 digit is going to be shot in an upcoming Gun Club event which will give it a good test. I'm going to be shooting it in the contest and then using it as a military rifle example for club members and their families to shoot. Probably 250-300 rounds through it during the day. I'll let you know how it does.

Tim, screws arrived today. Dont know what you are using to refinish them but they look darn good to me. Should hold up better than the other stuff you were using as it looks like a thin finish and shouldnt chip.
I like:) Thanks!

Orlando, it isn't a finish. It won't chip. It is the very best finish you can have. I dare you to remove it without removing metal.

Well like I said, I dont know what it is but I like it. You tried it on gas cylinders yet???

Waiting on report from Paid4C4. His guns go out tomorrow with the finish. I was coached on how to do this finish from THE Garand Guy.

Gas lock screws look great. The finish seems a lot smoother. Did you do something like using a finer grit material to clean them before you parked them ?

Tim, I've had an opportunity to look at the gas tubes, locks, and screws and I am very impressed. They appear to be finished with black park just like the rest of the rifle. Definitely different then the finish you used in the past on the gas tube parts. If this finish holds up its a great improvement. I'll be shooting one of the rifles over the weekend and will report back with the results. Looks like a home run to me.

Grit is the same, it's smoother because it's not paint. They are blued with a stainless bluing. The stuff is highly caustic and and you don't want to use it without serious ventilating.
