No worries mate. I would never pay what Whammo normally sells them for but I got this one for less than half

Nice looking setup Orlando! I like that cheek pad, can I ask what brand that is and where you got that? Can you add padding to raise height on that upper pad section?

Its a BlackHawk, nonadjustable. Its OK but may be changing it if I can find one I like better

I bought some kydex for projects and one that I have yet to tackle is a cheek rest.

I have the same blackhawk cheek pad on my muzzleloader. To get extra height I turned it upside down and laid more foam against the stock.

I also have a scope-eze pad that I've been trying to give away. It's yours for the cost of shipping if you want it.

Bill, I don't normally care for cammo on gun stocks, however I like it on your M1A. You can tell it's a good stock $$. You have a nice looking rig there.

I'm a fan. I'd like to build an all GI one one an LRB receiver but the prices are out of control on parts kits of late. Now if this redistribution of wealth idea catches on I'll buy two!

You are right prices are out of control. This is a all TRW parts rifle that was built on a SAI receiver sometime around 2003, iI cant remember the name of the builder. Barrel was NOS TRW, its a good shooter for a stock M1A

I think this is the cheek rest I will probably go with. They have them in several camo patterns and black

I like the idea of the TNVC cheeek rest being made here in the USA but I think that I am going to go with the Coyote M1A cheek rest as it looks to me to be a better fitting product at 1/2 the price.

I heard they stopped painting stocks again, wonder why?
I paid $90.00 shipped for the painted stock/ handguard with stock metal so I didnt think price was to bad.
