Okay, I have all the SN's and makes now so look below.

I have taken on a large number or rifles from a few different owners. These rifles are meant to be sold during this Christmas (and tax return) season on GB. I have 21 M1 Garand Rifles of IHC, HRA, and SA makes. I also have two M1 carbines.

I will be selling these rifles over the next several weeks on GB but, before I started the process, I thought I would make an offering here to any readers we have.

1. I do NOT own these rifles so your offer will not hurt my feelings.
2. I AM taking a commission though so I'm motivated to get a good price.
3. If you're looking for something special, give me a call 517-896-0523 and I'll see what I have.
4. I am not going to list all the specific stuff on this forum, or at least not yet. The more I have to list the more work I'd have into these.

Tim - Are these available for a conversion after you buy one or is there paperwork that needs to happen first?

I was going to send you a CMP rifle at the end of the year, but if I can help you out, I'd rather send you my money than them.

These rifles would probably be to highly priced for conversion. In fact, I may have many of the less expensive one's sold already, not sure yet. The least expensive Garand I have, for one rifle, is $750. Add a conversion to that and you have $1270. That's a tiny bit cheaper than what I sell the Mini-G for but you get the wood the rifle already has.

Big Ben, if you know what you want, I can check. It's just to many photo's to put up here and then do the same on GB.

Well, did I explain it as good as I could? The face of the receiver has chrome, or what's left of the chrome, on it. Looks more like nickel now.

Several of you want carbine photos and I'm not going to send each of you separate photos so I PM'd each of you to see these. Both Carbines were CMP service grades and are still in the grease they were shipped to the seller in. The S'G' has a Marlin barrel, which I would guess is most likely original, and the Saginaw has a lovely green receiver.

The Saginaw with Underwood 44 brl which may be original.

Chrome faced receivers were done when the tolerances were off. Not super common but is found ever now and then. It was done at Springfield to save receivers. Rick B
