So, I'm out hunting today and was able to call in a 2.5 year old buck. It took a lot of doing and the entire ordeal took about 45 minutes of cat and mouse. The deer has 10 tines over 1" and a broken spot for the 11th tine :( He's no monster, but I do have a few out here. I only let the trigger fall on this one because of the unusual triple brow tine and the fact that it was such an enjoyable cat and mouse game. Final shot was 48 yards by the range finder.

My hot bitch Getting the hearse to fetch the critter.

The crazy brow tines are the main reason the thing is dead.

Nice one. I see you hang um head up is that to gut? I have always hung the head down to drain all the blood and get a good rinse thought the Trachea. I gut before I hang also. Meat has always tasted perfect so I never changed. Rick B

I hang em head up, down, crosswise, don't matter. I gut em on the ground, then hang em. I wash out before I hang. I've just never found a difference in how I hang em, it's meat :)

I think the main reason he is dead is because you like killing things. The brow tines only caught your interest, right?

Yah yah Ben, you're right. You know how I roll. I will say that this thing will have about 20 rolls of summer made out of it. The hot bitch wants Summer Sausage and she wants most of this deer turned into it.

Congratulations and well done on harvesting that nice buck. However, when you take a picture of your next monster buck, try to smile a little and enjoy it. Jk :)

Point well taken Ben. I'll work on that, of course it's easier to smile when you're there.

Nice buck Tim, looks like things are shaping up to be and good harvest at the ranch. This was a practice buck, preparation fro the magical Nov. 15 festivities. Good job man.
