Very proud moment for my godson today, first buck, a nice seven point. We were actually done hunting and had stopped to talk to another hunter walking back to the truck. Not 40 yards away the buck walks up and starts a scrape, the boy took his shot and we all thought he missed and lost his arrow. 4 hours latter when I returned for an evening hunt I found the deer not 75 yards away with Kelins arrow in the front left chest. I had to call all our friends back and ammend the morning hunting story, that and gut the deer for the kid. His dad would have been proud of him.

That's an awesome first buck story for him! Very cool, a proud moment for sure.

So, we don't rate photo's? I love the story but feel it lacks a crucial narrative. :)

got the boy to mug for some pics yesterday, I'll get them posted today. He is rubbing it in good, I only shot a doe.
