Scroll bars?

Is there a way to turn them off? Some posts I can't see but a tiny bit of one line, I have to use the scroll bars... is there a setting to turn them off?
Also, I had no idea where to put this silly post. thanks, all.

Nope not a drink in at all, 3 years sober, LOL. THere is a set of scroll bars, (left, right, up down) near each posters comment. I will try to do a screen cap or something later, thanks for the help anyway. Oh, and Windows 7, IE 9.

I'm not an expert, but it sounds like a page encoding problem, font setting or some other kind of setting is screwed up on IE9. I hated IE from the start so I never used it. I would suggest downloading and use firefox as a test. If the bars go away, then you know it's IE and not Tim's problem.
