Op Rod Catch

Tim, I want my rifles Op Rod Catch to function sililar to a Holbrook devices. If I remove the trip arm and accelertor will the function be the same, or does it need to be spring loaded as his are?

By the way the Mini G arrived today and I am more than pleased. Thanks for the super quick turn-around.

I'm a fan of the Holbrook. The rifles functions just like an M14 with it installed. Also, for hunting you can stick in a 5 round enbloc and load it just like a blind mag. I tried making one myself but was stuck on the drilling part-I couldn't even scratch the op rod catch.
