Five minutes into shotgun season I killed a decent sized doe. Gonna pick up another tag or two.

I didn't see any deer to shoot this weekend but did manage to kill a feral hog.

Doe's are good eatin. I've killed 2 so far this year, that big buck continues to elude me. Nice way to start the season, congrats.

I had that one skinned and hanging by 830am Friday....ran to town and picked up two more tags, then picked up the boys from school. Went back out and hunted til dark Friday, then all day Sat and Sunday.....between the four of us we saw one more little doe all weekend long. My buddy shot at her from 40 yds with his muzzle loader...shot right over her back. He had his scope zeroed at 100 yds, but forgot to check his iron sights. We'll see what happens in two weeks when the 2nd shotgun season kicks in.
