Hey Tim,

You do any 1911 parking? I have a 1944 Ithaca that some one tried to blue many years ago and it looks like butt?

Cap, I can't seen any of the roll stampings but Tim re-did a gun that looked like a bar of soap. He had the whole gun re-machined and al the stampings re-done, then he parked it. The gun looked like new.

Am I correct in thinking that this piece is already a bit "soapy"? Could come out great but hard to tell from the photos. I really need decent markings on the slides for them to come out looking normal. If the markings are not decent, I got a guy.

I think the markings look pretty good. When I get close to having the work done I'll get some better photos for you and then you can tell me what you think.

I wish Tim would post those pics of the one he did with the restored roll markings. I re-defines the word humping.

I remember seeing a Colt slide a few months back and it was just like new.
(BTW, everytime I see your avatar I feel like I need to listed to Sublime.)

Cap, I never even heard of Sublime until after I found the drunk clown avatar. Now I have to go listen to a couple of their tracks.
