Here is the build I was working on.Receiver is 1988-89 Armscorp Receiver,Mostly SAI parts mixed with USGI(internals, sights).Just together for fit, still waiting for My Headspace gages.Passed tilt test wonderfully...I am happy, although receiver is painted and I'll have to have parked later.

Nice rifle Ryan. You can't headspace them anyway. Just use a new round as a go and put a few pieces of tape on the cartridge for a no-go. Stu

I sold off a Gorgeous "correct"1/45 Garand, and found a complete parts kit for $450 from a private sale, and a Receiver for $480 shipped and FFL fees.

Mike,I think someone painted it.It rubbed off in several spots so I removed it all,now it is smooth and shiny so I'm saving to get Receiver parked.I sent PM about gages BTW.

I'll send it to Shuff, unless He is too busy building His Oblama shrine?I'm gonna get some parts ready for the chopping block to build funds enough when I feel better.

Maybee we could take up a collection ?
Shuffy you out there ? We really can't have one of our Brethren running around with an unparked receiver. He would be making us look bad .......
