Is this the book we discussed on the first version of this forum as being inaccurate and has many mistakes? I recall something about that when we were purchasing Larry Babcock's book.

Yah, I think so. Inaccurate as it may be, it is the best format of any of the collecting books I've seen.

Ok, I know that I've seen references made to it before and the "experts" dismissing some of it, but we also discussed the pros and cons of it the old forum, I'm sure.

Found this on Ebay, but I don't think it's what you are looking for:

Anyone know if this book is worth the asking price? I might be interested.

Thank you for the replies. Harrison's book may be inaccurate, but the pictures are very valuable for beginners, which this book is for. Babcock's book is great, but it drives me crazy when he starts with the late M1's & then progresses to the early ones, and that his pages are not numbered, but arranged by section. Porer & Reisch's book is the worst one I have read. I started to write down the errors, but the time I got to page 20, I had 100. I gave up at that point & returned the book to the seller.

Did you want to sell it? if so , how much, or would you prefer to trade something? I can trade you a trigger housing for it.

I got Hather's Book of The Garand recently and it is excellent. The Grand Bible written by the guy intimately with its development. Unfortunately not cheap.
