I'm sorry I only ordered 6. All are in almost new condition, USGI, with the flat buckle and manufacturers initials with 43 and 44 dates. Worth $6 I'd say.

Today I really did get my slings. 5 Post-War with 1950's MRT dates and 1 Greek thing. Now that I have them I don't know why I bought them. I guess it was the possibility of getting a WWII one. I've wasted more money in the past.

OK, sling update. I was looking around the net trying to find info on slings but it seems pretty spotty. Anyway, a couple of folks say the slings what are WWII are a finer weave than Post-War. In looking over my National Treasures I find that 3 are fine weave, 2 are coarse, and on is Greek so that doesn't count. Of the 3 fine weave ones 2 have MRT stamps and one has what looks like a manufacturers stamp, but the ink is blurry and I can't read it. I dunno. I will say that for 6 bucks even the Greek one is quite serviceable. I dunno.
