Mike, got any of the stripper clip feeders that go on top of the Garand? Even if you don't, you know how those were attached? Solder looks like a good way but thought you might have the definitive answer.

Yes, but the one I have I just sold .
I can take a pic and email it.On the Beretta the receiver was machined with a slot and they were welded on .The Golden State rifles had a hole drilled in the receiver with a small stud that was infact silver soldered on.
