Somebody sent this to me in an e-mail, I haven't had time to check on it.
What do you guys think?

Who is buying companies that manufacture guns?????

For the last several years a company called 'The Freedom Group' has been
buying up gun and ammunition manufacturers. Some of the companies are:
· Bushmaster Firearms International (Semi-Automatic Rifles/Pistol);
· Marlin Firearms (High Power Rifles/Shotguns/Revolvers);
· Remington (Shotguns/Rifles/AMMO);
· DPMS (wide range of Military & Civilian Rifles);
· Dakota Arms (Fine Hunting & Safari Rifles and AMMO); and,
· H & R (Superior Rifles/Shotguns/Pistols).

Some people worry that 'The Freedom Group' is going to control most of the firearms companies in the United States. If you control the manufacturers you can decide to stop selling to civilians. What a perfect way to control guns.

Now if you do some digging you will see that 'The Freedom Group' is owned by a company called 'Cerberus Capital Management'.

Guess who controls Cerberus??? Right! GEORGE SOROS!!!!!!!!!

One of the most evil men on this planet who wants to restrict or ban all civilian guns.

Please pass this on to all your freedom loving friends. This needs to come out. Why have we not heard about this in the 'mainstream-media'? I would think this would be BIG news. (Soros also owns Progressive Insurance)

If you don't know who George Soros is you need to do some research. He backed Obamawith millions of dollars and Obama is a puppet on a string controlled by Soros.

Send this to every gun owner in America.

wikipedia disputes what I found and claims freedom group was only founded as of late. Funny, freedom group says they've been around for over a hundred years?

Firearms — Acquired Bushmaster Firearms, Inc., from Windham, Maine native Dick Dyke for an undisclosed sum in April 2006, and purchased Remington Arms in April 2007. Under Cerberus direction, Bushmaster Firearms acquired Cobb Manufacturing, a well-respected manufacturer of large-caliber tactical rifles in August 2007. Cerberus also acquired DPMS Panther Arms December 14, 2007.[29][30] Remington Arms acquired Marlin Firearms in January 2008.[31][32] In October 2009, Remington Military products acquired silencer manufacturer Advanced Armament Corporation.[33] These companies were combined into the Freedom Group.

Didn't Remington buy T/C as well?

Every place I've checked says soros has no connection with cerberus but guess who does? Former Bush appointees and Dan quayle.

Delete? What ever for? It's still interesting to have such a large company own all these gun corporations.

The same thing is happening in the tactical gear and body armor market. BAE systems has been buying up all the smaller government suppliers. They are trying to become the one-stop shop for nylon/kevlar in the country. I'm just glad I have all the gear I want or need already since BAE doesn't seem to care much for selling to non LEO or Military.

I'm confused, if you're not a hero, why would one need this gear :)

snopes is not a reliable source for anything remotely political. They are an openly leftist group that has been repeatedly caught flat out lying to protect the radical leftist agenda.

Which is why I have four sources.

"I'm confused, if you're not a hero, why would one need this gear"

Need has nothing to do with it. It's all about the want, and the means.
This is a portion of my armor and uniform collection from around the world. And yeah...it's all real. :D The vests on the far right are my SHTF setups.

I spend a lot of time playing mil-sim airsoft when I'm not doing WWII reenactments. I prefer real, issued gear to the cheap ass fakes. I sledom wear the kevlar panels in the vests anymore when I play, but the vests and helmets are real. Were packing 6mm plastic pellets instead of 5.56 rounds in the pouches, but the armor comes in handy when doing CQB games. $auto$

I just cannot believe anyone would dare purchase this gear when only our heroes should have it. Oh my :)

LOL. Scary isn't it.
You should see it when myself and a couple hundred other airsofters go the the events the Army puts on at FT. Riley.
Many of us are ex-mil, and we are better equipped than many of the active duty guys.
