I have this increasingly scarce US WW2 Flak helmet for sale. The original "felt" coating on the shell is still intact. Kahki webbing is nice. Some time a long time ago a kid named "Bob" wrote his name in the webbing and three swastikas (perhaps he thought they were "kill markings") One on the front of the helmet and one on each ear flap in red marker. perhaps it will clean off, but I never tried. The two foam noise cancelling ear pads are missing as they most often are. (the only reason I am selling this is I found one with BOTH pads intact so this one is now extra to my needs) Helmets in this similar condition go on Ebay for between $200-$250.
I tried to sell this on ebay, but they just deleted the listing stating the swastikas are "hurtful and discriminating" I am only able to sell this on forums. So reasonable offers considered!!
Lets do this one at $150 shipped. A nice addition to any military collection.
