you buyer or seller?
3 years ago I always said "if you find an IHC for under $1000, buy it.". The market has come down some, but that number is still a good starting point.
what does it have for a stock?
What are barrel measurements?

I sold a correct one, every single part, for $1300 just about two months ago. I would imagine that a mixmaster might be $900?

No, someone just called me and wanted to know what I had laying around. I had an IHC and told him what I wanted for it. I thought $1300 was a fair price to him and sold. The stock was also properly Julien dated for the rifle.

Maybe I just sold to cheaply, doesn't matter, the person who purchased the rifle from my collection was a super customer and from time to time, you have to throw a little love out.

Got any more correct $1300.00 IHC's for a crappy customer??
I think the one for sale is overpriced, just not sure by how much

I don't sir. I collected all the parts for the WRA I sold on GB and got SAVAGED on that one. I also had the IHC that I just didn't care for so I wasn't looking to make a killing on it and unloaded it. I don't really know what a correct IHC should go for. Mine was not an arrowhead or anything special, just a typical postage stamp.

In 2008, an IHC service grade from CMP was $750. Today, I would guess CMP would be selling their service grade IHCs for about $850. i wouldn't pay him more than about $1000

Uhm, I do have two Berretta's I'm going to be selling and the last one sold in about a day on Gunbroker. This always happens to me, AFTER I sell something everyone here says WHY didn't you tell me about it. The PB I sold went for $1000 buy it now and the next two will be for $1150.

Oh, I would go $1100 for people on this forum. I believe both are correct except for the stocks.

Orlando, I believe both are in new walnut. These are not my rifles but ones I am selling for others. Both are very fine specimens and in new park, albeit new park from maybe two or three years ago.

I saw that one LP. No offense but the pitting turned me off or I would have given it some thought.
I think you did very well on that one

Orlando,
I'm assuming you are talking about an IHC made "common" postage stamp and not one of the rare receiver variations. If the only IHC parts are the receiver and barrel and everything else is SA (I'm assuming the barrel is ok and not a sewer pipe) then I would say in today's economy $850 to $975. In the last month 3 rifles like the one you describe sold on GB in that range. If the rifle has all or mostly IHC parts then $1100-1400 if mostly IHC and if all IHC parts then $1400-$1700. Dependent upon condition of parts and finish.
If it's a SA/IHC postage stamp, gap letter, arrowhead or 4.40 postage stamp then all bets are off.

Ha, Asking and selling price is two different things. I dont have the heart to make a offer and hurt his feelings

Make him an offer in a PM, and tell him how you arrived at that price; you did some homework. The worst he should say is "no" - if the seller is a jerk about it then you just wait for the next one to come along or be willing to spend more next time.

Dropped his price $200 if you buy it less wood.
