Have a Mini-G, Do I need a M1A Socom?

Got my eyes set on a M1A Socom for not a bad price. I have a Mini-G, which rocks of course. Any practical reason to have both?

just get a G-mag fed...same thing....although,the M1A has a good scope mount setup.

I'm not a fan of the M1A scope mount. The dovetail is fragile. I like the M14.ca mount.
