I have SA 2473196A, which means that it is a duplicate serial # with a Winchester. If anyone has the matching WRA ser # , I would be glad to sell it to him.

Wow. Mine is Serial #247xx96 and is within 1200 numbers of that. Close, but no cigar!

I have a 1.61 SA with an "A" as well. Maybe someday I will find it's WRA brother.

Sorry, no. Maybe someone on our forum has it. Good luck!
The quest for duplicate serial numbers has cost me many many hours of lost sleep and other productive uses of my time. :)
I've always hoped to find one, someday, but in the last ten years I have yet to find a match to anything I have. I used to keep checking all the various serial number threads, all the gunbroker and AA listings, look at every garand at gunshops and gun shows etc, but I have since given up on that quest. I have found some real close, but never consecutive. I still have my "master list" tucked in my wallet, and I do update it whenever I get something new, but for the most part I don't search them out anymore. Someday, maybe, one will show up unexpectingly, but with my luck it will be way overpriced. This seems to be how it works for me. When I least expect it and when I'm not even looking, something I've always wanted will present itself. My recent 6mil HRA purchase is a prime example.
