I received this from Sarco a while back and installed it on My M14.I just noticed that the sear is completely different than any M14 sear I have seen.Any ideas?

Ryan, It looks like you're on your way to a BM59 build.

Yep, that is a BM59 trigger/sear, You can change the sear on it or trade it off for a Garand or M14 trigger/sear.

My brother has a package containing 2 NOS M14 trigger/sears that he asked to sell for him. I don't know anything about them other than the package is unopened and says:

1005-587-8419-B053
Trigger and Sear Assembly
2 EA
Olin Mathieson Chem Corp MFG/CONTR.
A-!A- MAR 62

and under that is a bunch of stamped numbers.

If you're interested, let me know and I'll see what he wants for them
