Nah, don't know but If I did I think we owe it to their memory to bring home as many National Treasures that we can.

I thought that was overseas in the 1980's...maybe South Korea?

I remember seeing those pics ( or some just like them) some years ago on an old gun board. I'm pretty sure those were taken in Vietnam.
Some of the more modern stuff like M16's were sold off and started popping up all over the third world, and the rest of the WWII era stuff was left in big piles to rust or sold for scrap. Most of the WWII German stuff were from the VC supply caches that were recovered and stored by the US/South after the VC were more or less destroyed enforce during TET. The North had no use for any of that when they took over.
The mini-guns came from all the HUEY gunships and AC-47's that were left behind when the North overran the country. Without constant maintenance and spare parts, those quit running pretty quickly and become useless.
If you look at the .30 cal and .50 pics closely, a lot of them are either the aviation model or COAX vesions from the M24,M47, M48 and M60 tanks that we left behind.
The Combloc stuff was kinda strange, but with both China and Russia giving the North new toys, why not junk anything even close to being unservicable.
