Has anyone been to the schaumburg,illinois: world war 2 reanactment. Awesome place. Held every sept. My family and I went last year going again this year.

I've got WWII reenactments coming up the next two weekends. We have twice as many Germans signed up for this weekand as we do American troops, so I'll be switching sides and fighting with the Allied side for this one. I'll get to use my rebuilt/reweld '43 Garand for the first time at an event.

Went to the ww2 weekend at reading yesterday. I arrived early and was awesome to see the displays and everyone in uniform and most carrying weapons. Saw the B-29 flying what a sight took my breathe away. The flea market was great got some stuff i needed for my ww2 impression.
