Yeah, I don't expect it to be match ammo but am wanting some military brass so I can reload them. Just wanted to make sure that a bunch of people hadn't had problems with it. Figured that would get me started learning the M1a and then when I started reloading I would get some improvement in accuracy.

It's good brass. Give up after 4 reloads though if shooting thru a M1A

Ok - thanks Dan!
So...the brass doens't last as long as with Garand reloading. I've gotten well over 10 reloads on my HXP brass. Uggghh...looks like reloading will be more expensive with the M1A than with the garand.

M1A's tear the shit out of brass. Usually it's the rims that get worked over.

Mine has been very easy on Brass.....so far.I only use USGI bolt internal and extractors,so maybe that makes a difference?

It may make a difference. I think the big thing is loads and what kind of powder one uses.
