Dave, what a small world I live near the top of I75 hill in N.KY! You maybe the closest BT member I've found. I currently have a Tech license N4BOP. I also repaired 2 way and had a radio telephone license years ago. We'll have to have an eyeball and compare notes.

I have a technician license. I have maintained it since the 70's. Not on the air to many other interests. Also I hold a commerical operator license, I used it when working in Alaska on NavAids.

My father was a bigtime ham, ran code only, N8LVD. He had a really good fist.My Sister is also into ham radio, she managed to get Dads callsign assigned to her. She runs alot of two-meter.

Bill, I still have most of my references for working on CBs. I was actually thinking about getting back into it. I ran mostly sideband. Had a souped-up Grant XL.
