#8 Follower and slide question

I never have seen a follower and slide assembly with the #8 stamped in this location.
Is it a rare variation or were plenty stamped like this ?

rare variation,very early SA.
Between 210,000 to 320,000

Value? well, that all depends if someone needs it. I would'nt value it at anymore than an early type follower, maybe $50 tops?

I also would say, If you wanted it to make a gun of the period, correct. Pay what you want.
