I have an HP. I hate it. It jams all the time. Suggestions for a new one?

I've had good luck with brother.

you can get a good color laser all-in-one for dirt cheap these days.

I have a HP scaner/copier/ FAX for years and works well. You must have got a lemon or I just got a good one

The main office printer/fax/scanner at the office is a big honking Konica Minolta. It rocks (but they are a small fortune and way too big for a home). we have a bunch of HP's. I have two in my office for me - an 8500 and a 6500. They both died in the last month. The gal in accounting has a 6500. Hers died last week. I was googling like mad trying to see if I could get them back to life. All I found was a ton of sites and posts telling me that everyone has the same problems with HP. they are mostly lemons. I think you may have gotten lucky, Orlando

I threw my HP out last year, the third one I've thrown out, JUNK. I got ANOTHER HP because it came with my computer, I give it a few months. Next one will not be HP.

Old school HP is the only way to go, unless you want a bizhub. As part of my job I oversee/maintain hundreds of printers. It used to be that you put out an HP and you never heard from it again. Lately we've been buying these HP 2055's. They'll just drop out on a user with no warning. Lexmarks are not much better.

Go paperless.. save a tree.

If it saves a tree, I don't do it. Anything that makes al gore happy is exactly what I don't do. I think I'll run two printers side by side and kill two trees with one print.

I just bought a 4 in 1 Epson Workhorse 325. It was on sale for 49.99. It is wireless also. It has been very good.

Canon Pixma MP780, no problems but it is a bit of an ink hog.

Out of curiosity, which has the best priced ink and the smallest use of that ink?
