I got this installed today to replace a very worn SA barrel.

Looks Danish to me, from what all that I have heard they are good shooters, some much better than just "good". Hows the muzzle/crown?

If you left click twice it should be much larger. He measure the throat and it was "1" or less, the muzzle gauged about the same and the crown looked perfect. He said this was made in Europe for Garands used by West Germany in the 1950s. I just wanted to find a little history of it to read. He did a lot of work for me for the money - $200. He replace the other barrel, set the new barrel perfect, and replaced a couple of parts on the bolt and cleaned up the receiver metal.
Thanks, John
Looks like mine. Thought it was a Norwegian barrel

That is exactly it! I was not sure where it was made, but now I know. He knows a lot about this stuff. I took his word it was accurate and the price was right. He did all that work for $200. He is a US marine veteran from VN.
