Okay, who do you know? I'm looking for someone who can make such a stock with no rear handguard for under $200. I could sell these all day long on Mini-G's. This is exactly what my customers want.

Cal, Tim, please confine this behavior to the War Room. This is the Mini-G forum. Thanks.

What? It was all clean! Not one dirty word in the entire exchange.

Is it your time of the month?

It aint $200 though.

ETA I've never owned an M1A. How different are the stocks? There are a few synthetic folders out there for that platform.

Actually, that stock will not fit a Mini-G. I've known about the Sage for years but the price is not in the range of what I want my customers to pay. Sage did offer to make a stock to fit the Mini-G though and I appreciated that very much.

Tim, Tony is finishing the E2 stock we speak. may not be a black rifle, but is going to be a way cool pistol grip stock that will be great on a mini. I will post pictures, hopefully next week.

I believe so sir. It's also an aluminum chasis. That make it very tough to cut out for mags.

Ah, got it now! His smith, I showed him how to solve some issue's on that gun. I have the emails somewhere but I think it was oprod spring related. The guy's smith has some real talent. I'm wondering if he is using a bolt stop on that rifle? Notice the standard Garand clip latch on the side? It's not very conducive to a bolt stop but maybe he figured out a way to work it, if someone could, that guy could.

I was at that guys website. He offers his Garands in 8mm. I have been looking for am 8mm garand barrel 30/06, .308, 8mm that would be a trifecta! I wonder if I could seat the bullet deep enough to fit in a M14 mag?

Asking again. What is the difference between an M14 stock and an M1 Garand stock?

I know theres the cut out on the rear for the giggle switch and the disc in the side but mounting wise do they mount the same?

M14 has several configurations of folders out there is why I ask.

I've never owned an M1A so I gots no clue.

Can you modify something like this to work? Looks like a nice stock, accepts AR accessories.

If Cal is on the right track and you can use M1A on a garand.

Maybe, but maybe not. Don't really know, yet.

Tim you may want to contact ProMag, I know they make various synthetic stocks. They just came out with one for the M14 and they may be able to help you with a G setup. Might be worth checking out anyway. Let me know what you think.
