No I am not considering a new line of work, I'm talking about stripping this glossy crap off the M14 stock I got in my CMP M14 kit. It looks like this stock is a slim birch stock with some nice figure. I'd like to save it if I can. I've already tried doing the paste-type stripper and got some off, but not all. I hit what was left with some 180 grit sandpaper to try to break it up some and was planning on doing the stripper thing again tomorrow.
Anyone have any tips?
