i have seen "THE" tool referenced before. what is it? a knurl tool to roll the shoulder. it's not like i have the capablities and i'm gonna take work from ya. i'm a metal worker/ maintenance man/ welder that is just interested in how things are accomplished. :)

The tool is a modified pipe cutter. It has enough force to evenly displace the shoulder. Way neater than peening. I just put the barrel on that I showed in the pic. The barrel would hand time to near 12. Now I had to use a cheater bar and all my weight. It works.

Just replace the cutting wheel with another wheel.

That is racist to do that to a shoulder.

I had to look long and hard to locate a wheel to replace the cutting wheel at work on our pipe machine. I keep the roller in my tool box . It works better if you can chuck the barrel up in a machine and let the tool do the work for you.
I guess that is another perk for being a maintenace man.
I promise Timmy I will not bring up the sand blast cabinet with free Al oxide. When the AL wears out I just go get another bag from the warehouse. Did I mention I get paid ?
