Gentlemen, I am new here and wanted to ask about the Garand Gear Ported Gas Plug.
I know the Schuster and Mccan plugs have been around awhile and work, the Garand Gear device seems simpler and more versatile, but does it work?
I have many years of reloading experience with the 30-06 using 4895-4064-4320 and 4350-4831 powders. I was wanting to move to the slower powders and fill the 30-06 case up and see if the accuracy improved. But while I do not think the medium powders can hurt my op rod the slower powders are a different story and I am leery of pushing things with the 4350-4831 type powders.
Thanks for any experiences you can share.
Hank
