XS Tactical Sights for the Springfield M1A

I was thinking about using the XS tactical sight for the M1A scout rifle on my Mag G. However the web site

specs these for an 18 and 22 inch barrel. Does anyone have an opinion on how these would work.

I checked to make sure, and these are not interchangeable. It's a case of you could make them fit, but then you have sight height to consider.
