This weekend, we went to Noxon Rapids Reservoir, in NW Montana. Been there one other time, back in 2006. The bass are spawning, so the regs say you can only keep one a day and in possession, and it has to be over 22 inches. Convenient, because the state record largemouth is 22.5", so your pretty well screwed for keeping any. Caught one smallmouth, that was maybe, maybe 10", so of course it went back in the water.
I did catch my first northern pike, though:D. 10 pounds.
