Nevermind,it was My silly error.It is a good thing I am"anal" and check things over so much,turns out there were pieces of scotch tape on the end...I must have been checking something will My go gage before?!!

You're safe with a pull through reamer anyway. You would have been very confused though.

I'm really glad it happened though,when I was putting the bolt back together I noticed something weird,pulled out My magnifying glass and whallah,reclaimed bolt!Crap!!firing pin hole is a bit out of round,then I seen flow marks,after I cleaned it up...oh well,it was a gift from a Friend and I'm not out any but I'll have to wait for cash for another :(

Oh, we're talking M1A. Ryan, good drill bit and you should be golden. Welding up the firing pin hole and re-drilling it is sop with the benchrest dudes.

Stu,No,it is an M1 bolt.It is a -65 series to be precise.
Why would anybody bother reclaiming an M1 bolt?

I have no idea,that is why I never even checked.Guess I will from now on?!!
