I'm currently driving, my honeypoo is at the wheel, north on 127 towards traverse city MI. Sitting here after a couple cold ones at a brewery and smoking a giant Padron anniversary maduro. I hate wine but the love of my life does very much like it. These ARE the days!
On another note, my Texas deer mount was delivered today. Tough day to take.

CAO Gold is my fav. Although I've recently discovered Kristoff cigars.....not bad.

My friend gave me a Padron 1926 anniverserie for Cristmas, I think it was rated 95 or 96, I didn't like the start, but the middle and finish where pretty nice.

Did I tell you I have a winery within (almost) walking distance of my cabin? There are four of them within ten minutes of the place.

Not Orest but...
If I recall correctly, he got it on a high fence southwest of Ft Worth, south of Abilene. He had a friend with connections. There was a threadabout on the old forum.

We got the deer in some town right next to the Rattle Snake capital of Texas. The town has the rattle snake roundup. I just don't remember the damn name of the town. Well, wine tasting is done and I'm just getting back from the casino. Tomorrow morning we come back home. It was nice but it will also be nice to get home. My head hurts.

If I recall it was shot in a pen in someone's back yard.
Someone held him still while Shuff walked up and put a slug in him.

The area around Strawn Texas was burned pretty good in the recent Texas wildfires. I was out there a few weeks ago and there was a lot of burned pastures.

No probs there. I'm sure the owners of this "ranch" brought their pets inside the house until the fires went by! :p

...and, because you're a lazy SOB, here's the article.
HOUSTON — A tame deer known as Mr. Buck has been beheaded at a wildlife sanctuary in Houston.
The remains of the child-friendly deer were discovered Tuesday at Bear Creek Pioneers Park.
A bloodhound was used to try to track the killer.
Harris County Commissioner Steve Radack says anyone who attacks an animal in captivity "is just the lowest of the low."
Authorities say someone cut through a remote fence to reach the animal, taking the deer's head and antlers. The carcass was left behind.
Taxidermy shops in the Houston area were being advised about the crime.
Charges including felony animal cruelty and poaching could be pursued against any suspects.

The funny part is the comment by county commissioner Mr. DUMB @ss. Uhm, cows are killed in captivity every day as well as chickens, pigs, goats, ducks, geese, blah blah blah. The commissioner is a daft moron.
