Getting ready for my week long annual Lake Erie Fishing Trip. Been working on my boat getting her ready. New water pump in the engine, new livewell pumps.
I'm like a kid on Christmas morning, one week to go until blastoff

Sounds like a blast. It's always great to get away for a week or more to do just fun stuff. Good luck and be safe.

If we get blowed off the Lake I'll stop at the NS ,otherwise I'm staying away. I have no extra money or self control and CMP accepts credit cards

You looking for anything special in a FG?

Bill, nothing special I just don't want the added expense of replacing the barrel.

My dad and uncle put a trip together every july out of port clinton. I used to go but I've had a few deployments since that have gotten in the way. Where do you fish?

We always fished the canadian side.

All depends on how the wind is blowing, I'm in a bassboat so I have to be careful.
I'll run to the Islands or trailer east and fish Huron, Vermillian,Lorain area. Its alot of fun, wish I lived another hour or so closer

Looks like I'm going to postpone my trip for a few weeks. The Big Pond is really tore up from all the rain and high winds
