muzzle wear question

i put a .3000" gage pin in the front of my muzzle,it fits very tight,does that mean that there is very little wear on this 1956 barrel.

Land to land is .300 Groove to groove is .308 so a good fitting .300 pin gage translates to a muzzle wear of "0".
