Ok guys still playing with accessories on CX 4 Storm, in 45 ACP

So now I'm kicking around the thought of a "rapid transition" sight picture. I was going to just place the Eotech on a "quick detach" bracket. If it failed I could remove it easily and be back on iron sights. Yet I have a friend who is a former LEO and he stated he would mount 45 degree canted mounts on the top rail and put some back up iron sights on. This way in event of failure you cant rifle a tick and you're right back in the ballgame. So I've been looking and I've found

Now for the $50.00 question. Since these are designed for AR platforms, do you think a guy would ever be able to get these zero'd at say 100 yds? I suppose if you ran out of front post adjustment you could file down the post or do they make shorter front posts? I'm not sure it'd work yet I'm not convinced it won't.
So any and all help , comments or suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks Thomas
