If you could only have one M1 to use as your main shooting rifle (not collecting) would it be a Mini-G or a regular M1 Garand?

Why?

Regular Garand as I could always have it turned into a Mini G if I wanted later

Mine would be a regular garand. Mini G's are cool rifles. My preference always leaned toward "as-issued" military rifles.

I would choose an "as issued" Rifle,If no rifles are available,I would choose to carry eric holder or nancy pelosi.

Depends on what I'm shooting - target, long range, animals, home invaders, stray dogs, etc?

AS Sean said for what purpose.
I like my Mini "G" magazine .308.
It's lighter, shorter, handles better in the woods. You can change mags, pre loaded with different loads, bullits, etc.
my 2 pennys.

I would have an HRA turned into a Mag fed G. I like the Mag fed HRA.
