My Father

I got him to go shooting with me today. He hasn't fired an M1 Garand in sixty years. I bought him this one five or so years ago and gave it to him for Christmas. Some of you have already heard that story, so I won't bore you. We had a nice time. The weather cooperated. The Surplusrifleforum.com guys at the range were great. I think he was feeling embarassed by his shooting as his eyes had been bothering him all week. I got him to fire his Garand, an Inland carbine he picked up at the CMP NS, and my Shuff's BM-14.
