Gun Show find...

Went to a gun show looking for a couple of "shooter" quality stocks. Came home with a 6.09m Springfield!

Rifle is all correct, original finish, service grade barrel.

Two problems with it.

1. It has a beautiful match bedded stock

2. The bolt has NOT been lapped. Fortunately, I wore my safety glasses when I test fired it this afternoon.
The spent brass actually rolled on the bench and did not wobble. Go figure;)

I was talking to a guy at a gun show who told me that more soldiers were killed by unlapped bolts than by Nazis. You should do the right thing and have that unsafe pos destroyed.
