Can't help it...........I'm WEAK!

Well I didn't go bowhunting this past weekend. A friend and fellow Firefighter has a Firearm's Business (Honor Arms) and he asked if I'd help him at his table. So I did, normal gunshow stuff only saw 3 M1's and they were mixmasters that appeared to have been dragged behind a pickup down a gravel road. Two were priced over 1k and one was $900.00. I did bring out my HRA and SA correct rifles. I priced them high and thought hey if they sell thats fine, if not GOOD!
I had several lookers, most had no idea what they were looking at, some knew but didn't have enough cash. One guy wanted to write me a check, but I passed. Needless to say I brought them home$clapper$. Yet it doesn't end there. I can only sit in a room full of Firearms for a short time before my wallet finds it's way open and in my hand!

I know I know, but it's COOL! Thought the Govenor would be a nice sidearm to carry while deer hunting, plus it should be an effective "nightstand" pistol!

I haven't shot it yet, but I'll get that done here in a couple of days and let you all know how it shoots, trigger pull is really good and the gun fits my hand nicely!

Brother, I am glad you posted that. I have the exact same affliction!!
It's good to know that there are others that just cannot leave a gunshow without bringing home something that goes bang.

Took 'ole Govenor out today.......what a hoot! $auto$ Man I love the thing, it will outshoot my handgun abilities! 45 Colt and 45 Acp both had similar POI and the Winchester PDX 1 410 rounds.........lol awesome. ;) I don't really care for the Win PDX because at 10 yds the disc stayed well on target the BB's were all over the place. Too many projectiles that could easily find an unwanted target! I'm gonna try the Federal 410 Personal Defense loads next trip. ( 4 000 Buckshot ) From what I've seen on videos these grouped well out to 30' and beyond. I like keeping all shot fired on target.
I did have one issue that concerned me.;Confused; 2 out of 20 rounds of the 410 ammo had light primer strikes! One round never did fire even after several attempts. The other fired on the second try. I'll run 2-3 cylinders of the Federal stuff and if I have like issues I'll give S&W a "jingle", otherwise I'll mark it up as an ammo problem.
$50.00 question is...."why did I buy this handgun in the first place?" I have no clue, but I think it'll be a neat strap on waist while deer hunting gun. Plus (if shotshell issue is easily resolved) won't hurt my feelings having 6 rds of 410 buckshot laying on my night table! $bomb$ Good Luck and Good Shooting All! The Hoser

sold it. .45lc wasn't too bad,but the 410 Yuch couldn't kill a grouse at 20 yards.
