I loved the book. The first one (Zombie Survival Guide) was tongue in cheek comedy, but WWZ was actually some surprisingly good serious fiction. I've been hearing about this movie for a while, looking forward to seeing it.

Sir, your notion that this is fiction is what gets people killed. The undead do walk this earth right now and only a genetic predisposition to cowardice and stupidity keeps them from savaging us. If the current undead were to infect the human population we would have an outbreak just as you see in World War Z. Please, remain vigilant my friend, a time may come when even the regular tax paying guy could be summoned to be a hero.
