View Full Version : Rebarreled a mixmaster.

I finally got around to rebarreling a mixmaster SA rifle I'd built before.My old barrel was totally shot out,so I used that one I had counterbored by myself.I shot several rounds off paper warm up,and to seat action,and then 4 shots to dial in sights.This was at 100yrds,open sights with 150gr Sierra FMJ BT bullets over 50grnsIMR4064.This will make a fine hunting rifle.I did this yesterday and then broke My toe last night,so no more outings for a while :(

not even going to tell,but I was an idiot.At least I know I can kill a spider from 100 yrds ;)

Which toe? I am convinced that the only reason for the existence of the little "piggy" toe is to catch it on some furniture (leg, wheel, door jamb, etc) while stumbling into the bathroom at 3 am.
