Hell...where have I been. First time I've seen it. Now back to watching it again and again and again.
Just the other day I searched in my heart to find the correct answer to Piers Morgans question...why does anyone need a hi-cap mag. Hell man. The vid gives the reason.

Tim......Time to get the SHUFFCHOPPER out of the hanger and fly some Mini-G kill missions...that is if Shuffs had a chopper. Well hell, a John Deere riding mower running arount the pasture is about the same thing. Sorry, that vid got me wound up.

Greg, the anti-2nd Amendment crowd has been asking the question over and over "why do you need military style weapons?" Well heck, I didn't know I needed an answer! Why do people NEED to bowl, sky dive, DRINK alcohol, smoke pot, watch porn, have sex with their own gender, piss on the flag, see action movies, smoke, play video games, golf, drive vehicles that get under 20 mpg, collect stamps...

I don't need to explain to anyone why I need to do ANYTHING. So long as a free person, in a "free" country, finds it in their best interest to do ANYTHING they want, without infringing on another FREE person, they don't need ANY explanation.

The debate over guns has now been couched to infer that gun owners are infringers, they are not, criminal gun possessors are. Criminal alcohol possessors, car possessors, sexual predators/deviants, financial handlers etc it all are the infringers and NOT the lawful/responsible participants that make up the general population that these offenders tear down.

Still, it takes me only as long as it does to open my mouth to say why I need any weapon. I need them because I want them! Because the founders of my country wanted me to have them. This country was carved out at the end of a gun barrel by a group of people who had had their personal freedoms restricted by an oppressive government who sought to stop that insurrection by confiscating the only tool of resistance, firearms.

My government will never be perfect, not even close to perfect, BUT my government will always be better/best when it is afraid. It is in the back of every lawmakers head that when they pass law, they could be shot dead. If a lawmaker does something that is so terrible, so tyrannical, so freedom taking that the masses are sickened by it, that lawmaker will think twice before signing their name to that law and that is exactly what the founders wanted. The gun is not just a tool to protect us from the bad guy who invades in the middle of the night, it is also a tool which provides the threat of overthrowing or meting out justice to a tyrannical government or lawmaker.

I would much rather have a government which is afraid of me than I afraid of my government. Right now, I'm very afraid of my government.

Tim,

You put into words exactly what many of us are thinking, and how many of us feel.

Thanks,

I honestly am not sure of Ted's views on other issues. Yes, he is a staunch 2nd supporter BUT, is he like many other gun owners who covets the 2nd but would crap all over the rest of the Constitution? This seems to be common place amongst the human species. Humans seem to treat the Constitution like some sort of restaurant menu where you pick and choose what you want and simply leave the rest off of your plate.

This current gun debate in America should teach us all why it is so important to guard the entire Constitution, you cannot expect to have your single interests guarded by the Constitution while telling someone else that they cannot piss on the flag.

Tim - It's America. America is not about your needs. The USSR and China are/were all about providing for their citizens needs. America is about earning your way to what you want while provising your own needs. Or at least that is the way I was taught.
