Ok a question for you old farts???? Where do you guys get ammo that is safe to shoot in your garand.. I normally shoot lake city... Any others???

For 10+ yrs my only source has been CMP

Put a shuster plug on it and shoot anything.

I'm not that old? but for a few years I got once fired LC/HXP brass from the monthly Garand Matches from guys that didn't reload when I got a good stach built up I started reloading my own. And if you stay within Arsenal velocities there is not need for a gas plug.

Reloading is the long term solution. I reload 30-06 for a little less than half of even cmp ball- or about 4 rounds made for each factory. Cmp ammo will not be around forever start stock piling reloading components now

I was buying CMP ammo, but now am reloading. The reloads shoot better and are much more appealing to the eye. I dig shiny brass.
