I currently have the amega ranges scout mount and it keeps coming loose, is the ultimak better?

Try some blue loktite, when that stuff sets up in AL, it doesn't come loose. My only fear is that you might not get the screws out, use very little. The Ultimak rail can come loose just as easily.

A carbine is the equivalent of an airsoft gun though. There is hardly any violent recoil and is the perfect starter for 2nd grade women everywhere.

Yeah its not a Garand. for the Garand I like the Scout mount sold by Fulton Armory. This is the same mount once offered by the CMP.
