Anyone here collect or know anything about the Johnson rifle? They have always intrigued me but I never took the time to learn about them.
Post some pics if you have them
Thanks

I know they were made in .30-06 and 7mm Mauser, they're rather unique, and they cost more money than they're worth!

I can't afford a Johnson. I thought we were going to level the playing field? Whatever happened to redistribution?

I have shot one. a fella in town here collects odd rifles, like the Ross and some Martinis. Loading seemed to be a pain in the ass on this one. Firing it, it seemed to be a slower action. no misfires, accuracy was so-so. Very fun to shoot though. You could really here the spring of some sort inside when firing it. Neat piece though.

O Contact Joseph Scott over on CSP . He is the authority on the 1941 Johnson. He also has a couple forsale .
I did not attend the last HGCA gunshow, but he is always there with his Johnson's. I have his # here at the house somewhere. Email me and I will provide it to you.
