Well, it seems the Law of the Land even counts in new york, or am I reading something wrong?

Stu, your problem is that you think the Constitution matters. Remember, your lawmakers are trying to protect the 2nd Amendment, have you forgotten?

Isn't Article 6 what they quote when they say that Federal Law trumps State Law? But they only say that when it benefits some big-shot.

The State's argument will be that your 2nd Amendment Rights have not been infringed because you can still own firearms, just not those big bad "assault weapons". It's the amount of ammo in the rest of the firearms that they've limited, not the firearms themselves, even though 95% of all semi-autmatic handguns are now useless.
