Just got done reading this months American Rifleman's magazine from the NRA. I noticed it was lacking something, it was lacking the CMP advertisement. I do hope that this is a trend and the CMP continues to seperate themselves from such a radical organization. I respect CMP for thier lack of involvement in any political affairs and thier dedication to ONLY promoting marksmanship.
It is my belief that any involvement with them will only serve to damage the CMPs reputation. We are in a political climate where all congress needs to do is sign a paper and the CMP goes good bye.

I was just reading that thread. He's an idiot. He gives idiots a bad name. I haven't read through the whole 10 pages in that thread yet, but this quote from his stood out:
