Add Brake - Have To Reset Schuster?

If I add a Smith brake on my Mini-G, will I have to reset the Schuster plug?

Also, any concerns shooting the Smith brake and having it generate extra pressure? I thought I had read that somewhere...

Some brakes really jack up the pressure eg. Beretta Tri-comp. Smith not so much but why not back it off one click and see. Can't hurt.
